Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Surgical Physician Assistant, you will be an integral part of our hospital-based surgical team, providing perioperative care across various surgical subspecialties. Your responsibilities will include :

• OR First Assisting : Covering a range of specialties including General Surgery, Colorectal, GYN, Urology, and more, with a focus on advanced procedures like DaVinci Robotic Surgery.
• Rounding : Collaborating with attendings, surgical residents, and students to round on surgical patients daily.
• Admissions & Consults : Managing admissions and consults for patients in the emergency department and inpatient floors.
• Floor Procedures : Performing essential floor procedures such as NG tube insertions and wound care.

Working Conditions

This position offers a balanced schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift per month. You will benefit from an extensive onboarding and training period, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your role.
