  • The Department of Neurology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York is seeking to hire an MD or MD / PhD at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to lead a research program focused on PET imaging of Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders.
  • The successful candidate will have a track record of publications, research funding, collaboration, and technical expertise in the application of PET biomarkers to Alzheimer’s disease research.

The candidate’s research program will be expected to contribute to the Biomarker Core of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Mount Sinai, and will interface with researchers in the Loeb Center for Alzheimer’s Disease, the Translational Molecular Imaging Institute, and the Departments of Neurology, Radiology, and Neuroscience more broadly.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital / community need.
