Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department assignment requiring Epic proficiency and a WI or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
  • 13-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1 : 1-4
  • Required to work 12-hour variable shifts including every other weekend and rotating holidays
  • Possible floating to other locations including Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Stevens Point
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • No regular on-call responsibilities; additional shifts may be available for coverage
  • Up to 7 days of RTO will be accommodated during the contract
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Team player with the ability to adapt to change and collaborate effectively
  • Any colored scrubs are acceptable
  • Holiday rotation is required
  • Support services include respiratory therapy in-house and X-ray on site

    • Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required : BLS and ACLS (AHA or Red Cross), PALS, and TNCC
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Must be ED competent and proficient in Epic
  • Prior travel experience preferred
