Media Program Director
Job Summary
We are a national initiative to strengthen communities and democracy by supporting local news in the upcoming years. Seeking a Program Director of Media and Journalism that will lead this movement to reinvigorate local news by bringing more funders into the fold and helping to deploy millions in funding to media initiatives in Miami!

Media Program Director Requirements / Qualifications :
- 8 to 10 years' experience working in journalism, media, or adjacent fields.
- Design and execute the successful launch of our brand in partnership with coalition members.
- Maintain active and collaborative relationships with peer funders, local media outlets, and other stakeholders.
- Support fundraising for additional resources for the initiative as necessary.
- Develop a communications, reporting, and accountability structure to communicate the purpose of our brand to multiple audiences and to report on its progress.
- Keep up with current events, developments, and issues in the field to maintain a balanced and objective perspective and approach to grant making.
- Must live local and know the Miami market well.
