Phlebotomist - Per Diem

We seek a dedicated phlebotomist to conduct blood draws for patients participating in critical studies. This position offers a unique blend of flexible scheduling and competitive compensation, perfect for those seeking to balance work with personal commitments.

Location : Center City, Philadelphia

Assignment Type : Per diem, requiring your presence 1-2 times per month.

Schedule : Typically assignments are in the morning from 9 : 30 AM to 11 : 30 AM.

Compensation : $21.00 per hour. Assignments approximately require 2 hours of work, but compensation is provided for 4 hours.

Payment is processed the next day, ensuring timely and efficient compensation for your dedication.

Responsibilities :

• Efficient and empathetic execution of blood draws, adhering to the highest standards of safety and patient care.
• Proper handling, labeling, and processing of specimens for analysis.
• Maintaining a sterile and organized work environment.
• Collaborating with the research team to ensure the smooth operation of the specimen collection process.
• Upholding strict patient confidentiality and providing compassionate support to study participants.

Requirements :

• Current Phlebotomy certification from a recognized institution.
• At least 1 year of practical experience in phlebotomy, showcasing proficiency in blood collection techniques and patient care.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients.
• Flexibility to meet the scheduled hours with punctuality and reliability.
• A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and patient privacy.
