WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

This entry-level position puts you in the center of the auction action, handling interesting antiques and art from around the world, with auction set-up, inventory management, repair and restoration, and auction day staffing.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Maintaining the Warehouse organized and in order.
- Responsible for the Intake of Auction items as they come in and prepare them for the
photography process
- Assisting Photographers with auction items during the photo process
- Responsible for Inventory Control of Auction Items in the Warehouse
- Cleaning and light repair of auction items
- General maintenance of the Warehouse, Photography Area and Intake Area
- Helping buyers load their purchases into their vehicles and helping sellers unload items
from their vehicles.
Job Requirements :
- Ability to SAFELY lift and move DELICATE objects and HEAVY objects
- Must have good COMMUNICATION & ORGANIZATIONAL skills
- Must be able to work in TEAMWORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to take direction in a FAST- PACED environment
- Must have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS to communicate with buyers and sellers
Compensation :
- $14 -16 hour
