As the Senior JDE Solution Architect, you will design and implement business critical solutions throughout Stryker’s global instances of JDE that will impact performance and capability in manufacturing and procurement.

What you will do
- Ensure excellence in process execution across all operational processes (e.g. Change, configuration, etc.) related to the solution, creatively applying a wide range of technical, functional, and / or organizational principles.
- Influence internal customers and project teams through change management initiatives, ensuring that application and process development standards are strictly complied with for best system continuity and data integrity.
- Develop influential relationships with internal and external team members and vendor partners at appropriate levels.
- Make decisions that impact the work of employing organizations, achievement of organizational objectives, and system and organizational performance.
- Ensure documentation that is relevant to the service is maintained in a meaningful and accessible manner. This includes system documentation, requirements and test scripts, knowledge articles, and configuration and organizational information, emergency contacts / call lists, etc.
- Ensure the platform is scalable and configured to meet growing customer numbers.
- Analyze requirements and advise on scope and options for continuous operational improvement. Demonstrate creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the client / stakeholder.
- Maintain awareness of pending and active projects that may or will impact the business application and stability of systems or services.
- Push for quick adoption of project execution strategies that produce highly maintainable services with low TCO.
- Minimize build-to-run transition by scrutinizing changes very carefully.
What you need
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
- 10+ years of experience in JD Edwards (JDE) is required.
- 15+ years of experience preferred.
- Experience with core JD Edwards functionality in Manufacturing, understanding of the supporting technologies supporting JD Edwards, RF Technologies, iSeries, reporting Tech required.
- Sales & Distribution JDE experience preferred.
- Experience in back-end database technologies such as DB2, MS SQL Server, and iSeries AS400, Oracle DB required.
- Experience with third-party integrations with JDE required.
- Strong knowledge of PC skills working with large datasets required.
