Forklift Operator (Stand Up Cherry Picker) Starting at $21.50/hour

Potential Shifts and Pay Rates :

Night Shift : Pay rate : $21.50 / hr

• Front Half Nights, Sun-Wed, 6 pm to 4 : 30 am (40 hours / week) + $1.50 shift differential
• Back Half Nights, Thurs-Sat 5pm to 5am (36 hours / week) + $2.50 shift differential

Purpose

Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker / cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center.

Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
• Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
• Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
• Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns
• Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to : order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift
• Basic math skills

Essential Physical Functions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is :
• regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up to twelve (12) hours / day
• able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet
• able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• able to reliably attend work / scheduled hours
• required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
• occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds;

and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Required to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Previous experience (6 months) operating a forklift, Stand-up Order Picker / Cherry Picker
