Overview

Construction Estimator - Healthcare Renovation Projects. Join to apply for the Construction Estimator - Healthcare Renovation Projects role at REVELS CONTRACTING SERVICES, INC.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with generating budgetary estimates using a customized Excel program.
  • Contact subcontractors to request quotes and review / subcontractor quotes.
  • Write Scopes of Work and submit proposals to customers.
  • Work with Account Managers to gather site conditions, compare vendor preliminary drawings, and develop pricing and scope of work.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, Suppliers, Project Managers, and subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction industry estimating.
  • Proficient with computer skills including Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and communication via Microsoft Outlook, phone, and text.
  • Strong understanding of general building materials and construction / renovation concepts, including basic knowledge of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical.
  • Ability to analyze project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
  • Ability to review and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Salary range is $55,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
