Engineer / HVAC Mechanic (FDIC)

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineer / HVAC Mechanic to work in Arlington, VA.

Job Summary

Immediate opening for a skilled technician in HVAC systems maintenance and repair. Covered by the Local 99 CBA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments of building system operations.
  • Perform tests, tours, and data analysis to assure proper operation of building machinery.
  • Execute minor repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment, machinery, and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.

Qualifications

  • Current CFC Universal License.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a Building Engineer in a commercial environment.
  • EMS experience.
  • Ability to work any shift assigned, including weekends and overtime.
  • Self-starter with adherence to company policies.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.

    • Physical Demands

  • Requires walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions for extended periods.
