Description :

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting.

This is a day shift position consisting of five 8-hour days.

The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Travel experience is required for this position.

Experience with the Epic charting system is necessary.

Certifications required include BLS and a valid TX state license.

Candidates residing in specific counties will not be considered.

The ideal candidate will have skills in acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities.

Experience with various conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and cognitive disorders is essential.

This role involves working with patients recovering from surgeries and various diagnoses including multiple sclerosis and traumatic brain injuries.

Candidates must be able to provide effective patient and family education as well as develop home exercise programs.
