A private organization in Florida is currently seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing practice in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.
About the Opportunity : Schedule : Monday to Friday Hours : 8am to 5pm Responsibilities : The Family Practice Physician will : Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of illnesses and medical conditions for patients Perform routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma by developing and implementing long-term care plans Provide care for acute illnesses and injuries, including infections, minor injuries, and sudden illnesses Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work, imaging studies, and ECGs Prescribe medications and provide guidance on the use of over-the-counter medications Refer patients to specialists when specialized care Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including history, treatment plans, and outcomes Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications : Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Florida Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics or Medical-Pediatrics Desired Skills : 3+ years of postgraduate experience in an Ambulatory, Acute Care, and / or Private Practice
