Overview

Patriot Construction Management is a leading construction company delivering high-quality projects across various industries. We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager in Houston, TX to help deliver exceptional projects on time and within budget, with a focus on safety, excellence, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Monitor project progress, provide regular updates, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, materials, and equipment; control schedules and budgets; ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Address issues and conflicts promptly; maintain thorough project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Assist in development and management of project budgets; review and approve expenses, change orders, and invoices; identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Mitigate risks through proactive planning and coordination; maintain understanding of contracts, insurance, and legal matters related to the project.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and subcontractors; provide regular project updates per company policy.
  • Prepare progress reports and presentations for clients and company management; provide innovative solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management and owner's representation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
