Education : Nursing Diploma or ASN required ; BSN preferred . Licensure : If less than 3 years RN experience and no FL license, must take NCLEX in FL and pass before consideration. Certifications : NIHSS Certification required within 30 days of hire (must work under NIHSS credentials until obtained).
RN- Cardiac Neuro Telemetry (Day Shift)
Location : Sanford, FL, 32771
Shift : 12-hr Days | 07 : 00 AM 07 : 00 PM
Job Type : Permanent
Guaranteed Hours : (36 hours / week)
Compensation : (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals with cardiac, neuro, and telemetry monitoring needs.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide patient and family education on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient status promptly.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications :
Florida RN License required , or Compact RN License (must apply for FL license).
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS (required).
