About The Position
Job Title : Technologist Job Specialty : Mammography Job Duration : Not specified Shift : Day - 8x5 - 08A - 04P - 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Completion of an accredited 2 or 4-year program in Sonography accredited by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Training (JRCERT) required.
License : Registered Technologist in Mammography specialty and tomosynthesis qualifications required. Certifications : BLS required.
ARRT certification required. Must-Have : Stereotactic and / or DEXA experience preferred. Job Description : Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms.
- Conduct necessary quality assurance tasks for equipment.- Assist physicians with biopsy procedures as needed.- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety for both patients and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with physicians and physician offices to ensure that patients receive the best possible care for their treatment plan.
- Occasionally work half days on Saturdays.
