General Laborer - Dickinson

Summary of Position :

Perform tasks involving physical labor with heavy construction projects or shop duties. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and remove waste materials. May assist operators.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy / highway construction projects and / or oilfield projects.
• Perform manual work in preparing surfaces, ditches, culverts or other areas.
• Shovel dirt within construction area as defined by grade fill specifications given by foreman / operator.
• Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
• Load and unload material manually, haul and hoist materials (pipe, box culverts, supplies).
• Shop maintenance or flagging duties when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
