Job Title : Registered Nurse* Location : Indianapolis, IN* Hours : Monday- Friday 8am-5pm On Call as needed Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) who is also capable of performing essential duties typically associated with a Respiratory Therapist.

In this unique role, you will provide comprehensive patient care while assisting with respiratory treatments and interventions.

• Patient Assessment : Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with respiratory conditions, evaluating their health status and needs.
• Care Planning : Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.* Respiratory Treatments : Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including nebulizer therapy and oxygen administration, as directed.
• Monitoring : Regularly monitor patients vital signs and respiratory status, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Patient Education : Educate patients and families on respiratory health, treatment options, and self-care techniques.* Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely records of all nursing and respiratory therapy interventions.
• Quality Improvement : Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes in respiratory services.
• Collaboration : Work closely with Respiratory Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
• Supportive Care : Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications : * Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licences.* Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.* Experience in respiratory care or respiratory therapy training is preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
