An award winning hotel group is looking to add a polished and analytical Director of Finance to their team to oversee a four star resort about 30 minutes outside of Atlanta .

This individual will oversee all areas in finance, especially payroll, budgeting, forecasting and relevant duties. This requires an ability to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, provide accurate and timely financial reports as requested by leadership and corporate.
Implements internal control procedures that safeguard leaders, owner, assets and complies with Federal, State and Local regulations.
Position Qualifications :
- At least 10 years of experience within hotel finance and / or accounting
- At least 3 years in a Director / Controller role
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience with cash management
- Experience with a partially centralized accounting setting a plus
- Multiple property experience or experience overseeing a property of at least 300 rooms
- Ability to analyze activities or information involving some original data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions
- Knowledge of all hotel accounting functions performed by the subordinate reporting directly or indirectly
- A Bachelor's Degree in finance / accounting or equivalent education / experience a plus
- Experience with Office Management, Bank Reconciliations, Preparation of State and Federal Reports, Training of Accounting staff employees, Conducting or participating in meetings, Analysis of Balance Sheet Accounts, Preparation of Journal entries, closing the books and preparing the Balance Sheet Package
Compensation : $135,000 - $150,000 base, bonus program, 401k with a company match, Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, FSA, PTO, tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, golf and room discounts, and much more!
