Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will focuses on not only maintaining existing relationships with current customers, but also working with new customers.
Working with others internally, you will ensure the customer is receiving high service levels through such activities as selling products and services, providing alternative products and solutions, quoting, following up on orders and problem solving issues.
You will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, processing orders, and maintaining the store’s appearance.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Work on company provided laptop to create estimates, invoices and carry out customer sales.
- Collect payments by cash, check and credit card.
- Issue receipts to customers electronically.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to quickly and accurately work on sales platforms
- Must be able to work weekends
