NICU Speech Language Pathologist - Speech Language Pathology Department working at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA, employed by Providence St.

Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center

Shift Details : Full Time, Day Shift, 40 hours a week, 4-5 days / week, 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm / 5 : 30 pm

Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager and support of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Supervisor, the NICU SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) clinician will provide developmentally appropriate assessments and interventions to infants in the NICU or special care nurseries who are at risk or identified with communication, cognition, feeding, and / or swallowing disorders.

The NICU SLP clinician will work collaboratively with a neonatal team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.

Required qualifications :

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
  • Washington Speech Language Pathologist License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed SLP
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a NICU or with medically fragile infants
