About the Role

We are seeking a motivated R&D Technician to join our Technical Department. In this role, you will support our Chemists in the development, testing, and application of new and existing products. This position is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys laboratory work, problem-solving, and contributing to product innovation in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare laboratory trial batches and perform compounding work
  • Test products according to industry standards and document results
  • Apply products using production equipment in a board shop environment
  • Complete laboratory work requests accurately and on time
  • Write clear, concise reports on testing and development activities
  • Support Quality Control functions as needed
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety policies at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or experience in chemistry highly preferred
  • Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and procedures
  • Strong math and counting skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Previous laboratory or technical work experience is a plus

    • Working Conditions

  • Indoor laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals, odors, machine noise, and dust
  • Routine use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and uniforms (provided)
  • Occasional heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
  • Some overtime or weekend work may be required
