About the Division of Urgent Care

Nicklaus Children's Hospital owns and operates a network of state-of-the-art Urgent Care Centers with immediate physician opportunities throughout South Florida, strategically located in communities that provide easy access for the patients and families that we serve.

When a patient from an Urgent Care Center requires emergency treatment, the hospitals LifeFlight Critical Care Transport Team transports the patient by ground ambulance to an appropriate Emergency Department for care.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with pediatric suturing, wound management, pediatric trauma and transport, emergency treatment of asthma, croup, respiratory distress, possible sepsis, dehydration, anaphylaxis, febrile illness, acute surgical abdomen, orthopedic cases that require diagnosis, splinting and transport. BLS, PALS and EMS activation and transport knowledge.
