job_description.job_card.job_description12 hour shifts Compliance with all MTAC policies and procedures Maintain a clean appearance, demonstrating courteous, professional and ethical behavior, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the healthcare community. Continually improve and upgrade the skills and knowledge of the EMS Profession Render competent patient care in the both prehospital and interfacility setting Compliance with all applicable service, local and state protocols Safely operate and maintain all equipment and tools relevant to an EMT and EMT-Paramedic Communicate patient information to other members to other members of the healthcare profession. Communicate information through the proper chain of command, to management and other colleagues of MTAC Accurately and completely documents information required by MTAC and the Department of Health via our Electronic PCR. Demonstrate, by attendance and documentation, compliance with MTAC and PADOH requirements for continuing education and licensure Demonstrate physical and mental ability to perform all tasks required in the performance of duties as an EMT-Paramedic Clean and maintain the cleanliness of MTAC property, including, but not limited to vehicles, equipment, buildings, and surrounding areas. Accurately and completely document the required information on MTACs Daily Vehicle Inspection form and daily Equipment Inventory form. Sit and Stand for extended periods of time Walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and carry Frequently lift and / or move more than 125 pounds including lifting, moving and carrying patients up and down stairs High School Diploma or GED equivalent Completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program and acceptance for licensure or reciprocity in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Maintain current valid drivers licence Maintain, on file, current a valid PA EMT Paramedic certification Maintain, on file, current CPR for the Healthcare Professional Maintain, on file, current and valid PA DOH approved ACLS provider Maintain, on file, current and valid PA DOH approved PALS provider Maintain, on file, current and valid PA DOH EMSVO certification ALL REQUIRED BACKGROUND CLEARANCES (PA STATE, PA CHILD CLEARANCE, FBI CLEARANCE) Certification from PA EMT-P PHTLS and or ITLS provider CPR Instructor MTAC is an Equal Opportunity Employer No Referral program Broomall, PA 19008 (Required)
