Sr. Associate Scientist - Manufacturing Sciences (Cell Banking)
About This Role
The Sr. Associate Scientist, Manufacturing Sciences will provide support within the Manufacturing Sciences (MS) Cell Banking group.
This group supports the Research Triangle Park facility and global teams.
What You'll Do
- Perform cell banking activities, utilizing aseptic technique in a GMP environment
- Execute cell bank growth characterization and stability laboratory experiments
- Assist with internal and external cell banking technology transfers
- Author cell bank manufacturing, growth characterization and stability technical reports
- Provide support to author and update cell bank documentation.
- Support internal and external audits
Who You Are
You have a passion for cell culture and consider yourself to have strong attention to detail. You are organized and work well as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering, biochemistry, biology or similar
- Minimum 4 years of work experience with cell culture (mammalian preferred) appropriate to cell banking operations
- Strong communication skills, organized and team oriented
- Ability to work independently and complete projects in an efficient and timely manner
- Comfortable analyzing scientific datasets
- Experience with change controls and electronic document management systems
