Warehouse Clerk - Monday - Thursday - 5 : 00pm - 3 : 30am - Nights
Below outlines the responsibilities and requirements of the Cold Warehouse Clerk. The Cold Warehouse Clerk reports directly to the Inventory Manager.
Responsibilities
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external partners (carriers, drivers, donation recipients, QA, R&D, Cold Warehouse, Scale House, etc.) via e-mail, radio, telephone, face to face, etc.
- Practice professionalism in all interactions, especially with drivers, vendors, carriers, etc.
- Check-in inbound drivers and check-out outbound drivers
- Check product availability in SAP
- Prepare the necessary paperwork for loading and unloading of loads
- Prepare manual BOLs for non-SAP loads
- Close out loads in SAP
- File paperwork physically and electronically
- Communicate trailer moves to the yard spotter
- Keep schedule and dock door spreadsheets updated
- Receive CHEP loads and communicate CHEP availability
- Communicate preloaded trailers and trailer needs to carriers
- Build and communicate late load report
- Be involved in implementing solutions and providing ideas to improve and strengthen the department
- Keep areas clean and organized following the 6S process
- Embrace and demonstrate Chobani's culture of safety
- Other duties as assigned by Cold Warehouse Managers, Supervisors and Leads
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams. (SAP experience a plus)Occasionally work on your feet for up to 12 hours and lift, push or pull up to 60 pounds.Must adhere to Chobani's attendance policyWork with other departments to build and maintain a "whole team" atmosphereSafety and quality orientedMust be clean, follow GMPs, wear proper PPE, and practice good housekeepingMust be flexible to changing schedules and additional hours as neededWork in a team or alone as requiredMaintain good communication with team members, Supervisor, Manager, etc.Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistenciesHighly organized with excellent time-management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively
