About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Wound Care Job Specialty : Wound Ostomy / Continence Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours : Full-time Experience : Minimum of 2 years in the specialty License : Basic Life Support (BLS) required Certifications : CWON® or CWOCN® certifications required for all RNs in this role Must-Have : Needs to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday during the employment period Job Description : Provide specialized nursing care in wound, ostomy, and continence management.
- Assess patients’ conditions and develop appropriate care plans.- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on care procedures and management.- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
- Must work two of the following major holidays : Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.- Must also work one of the following minor holidays : the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
