Requirements for Nurse Unit Manager :
- Currently licensed as a nurse in Massachusetts
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred, but not required
- Experience with electronic medical record
- PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid leadership abilities
Job Duties for Nurse Unit Manager :
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Mentor and lead RN / LPN Staff Nurses in care practices
- Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
- Implement infection control updates
- Contribute to QAPI analysis and initiatives
The successful Nurse Unit Manager candidate will report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with our Assistant Director of Nursing and Staff Development Coordinator to foster patient-centered nursing care.
