Parker Plano, TX 75093 Work hours : Full-Time Days (7am-7pm) rotating weekends and holidays Medical Surgical Department Highlights 22- bed Medical Surgical Telemetry unit 1 : 5 RN : patient ratio, 1 PCT for every 10-11 pts Experience as preceptor and / or charge nurse highly preferred Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program BSN preferred 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req RN Nurse Upon Hire Required BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety / infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and / or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
