ZTransform. is proactively seeking candidates for a Revenue and General Ledger Accountant to assist in the cycle of Accounts Receivable from managing AR data to collections and reconciling the general ledger.
Duties :
- Maintaining customer accounts
- Generating invoices : ?Using a billing system to prepare and send invoices to clients
- Collecting payments and posting payments : ?Ensuring clients pay on time and in full and monitoring incoming payments and reconciling any irregularities
- Resolving discrepancies : ?Investigating and resolving issues with payments, whether incoming or outgoing
- Auditing billing details : ?Ensuring the accuracy of accounting by periodically auditing billing details
- Generating reports : ?Providing reports to different departments as needed
- Reconcile general ledger accounts. Ensure that all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
Correct errors and communicate with management as needed
- Prepare journal entries relating to amortization, depreciation, accruals, and a variety of other information to assist with month end process.
- Assist management in process and procedures as needed.
- Assist management in tasks as assigned.
- Utilize clear and professional communication while performing job duties
- Exercise integrity and transparency in financial documentation and reporting and assist in working with accounting to suggest processes and procedures that may be more efficient.
Requirements :
Required Skills & Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 8-10 years of general accounting which includes AR, GL reconciliations and process and procedures experience, or a combination of education experience.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills a must
- Solid time management system and demonstrates excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Word, etc.) and QuickBooks.
- Work Schedule : Full time Remote : Work hours are estimated to be 40 hours per week with occasional travel. Work hours are Monday-Friday, usually between 8am-5pm PST.
The position is remote but does require a few days a month at a company location. Compensation : Hourly wage rate based upon education and experience
