KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the development of thought leadership initiatives (e.g. Develop application guidance, methodologies, whitepapers, articles, etc.)
  • Investigate and propose solutions for accounting issues, accounting methodologies, and effects on the financial statements
  • Assist engagements and our client in generating reports, performing reconciliations, and requested information and questions from auditors
  • Provide support in financial management processes, capabilities, systems, tools, and applications within the areas of budget planning, execution, and reporting
  • Research and provide guidance to clients on the application of Federal standards, policies, regulations, and technical guidance

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of three years of experience in federal financial management disciplines, generating standards, researching practices, producing analysis, and issuing policies
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university
  • Experience applying FASAB, Treasury, GAO, and OMB regulations, leading small teams, and managing client relationships
  • Experience analyzing financial and systems processes and controls
  • U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government TS / SCI + Poly security clearance
