Job Title : Registered Nurse – General OR

Location : Ohio

Schedule :

  • 36 hours / week
  • Day shifts : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (3x12s), OR
  • Four 10-hour shifts : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM, OR
  • Five 8-hour shifts (schedule to be confirmed during interview)
  • Rotating call schedule (weekday & weekend), split between Call 1 and Call 2
  • Possible holiday call rotation if holiday falls within contract
  • Rotation subject to change based on patient census and staffing needs

    • Position Summary :

    The General OR RN provides safe and effective nursing care to surgical patients in collaboration with the healthcare team. The RN will circulate and / or scrub in surgical procedures, assist with robotic, neuro, and orthopedic cases when needed, and support patient safety and quality care throughout the perioperative process.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver perioperative nursing care following hospital policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.
  • Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical cases, including general, neuro, ortho, and robotic procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.
  • Participate in rotating call schedule, including weekends and potential holiday coverage.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.

    • Requirements :

  • Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state eligibility).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
  • Minimum 3 years of current / recent Operating Room nursing experience (required).
  • Experience with robotic, neuro, and orthopedic procedures (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR (required).

  • 12 , 4
  • 10 , 5
  • 8 can be diseased during the interview

    • Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state eligibility).

    Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

    Minimum 3 years of current / recent Operating Room nursing experience (required).

    Proficiency in Epic EMR (required).
