What you’ll do on a typical day :
- Receipts and outbound shipments, replenishment activities, inventory slotting, capacity analysis, order prioritization and expedite processing
- Develop and execute operational level reporting for site level leadership team and the client
- Support Operations teams to ensure service level standards are met; adhere to all contractual obligations and ensure client compliance
- Identify growth opportunities with current customers by promoting enhanced services and / or cost savings to the customer, partner with site leadership in all customer visits, conference calls and problem-solving efforts
- Track, record and maintain planning and operations-related data; deploy planning-based metrics to ensure optimized operational efficiencies
- Support the identification and deployment of cost-saving initiatives through deployment of planning based continuous improvement initiatives within the site
- Handle all direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, setting expectations, training and development, conducting performance reviews, etc.
What you need to succeed at GXO :
At a minimum, you’ll need :
4 years of relevant work experience
It’d be great if you also :
4 years of managerial / supervisory experience
