Job Title : Staff Accountant

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to join our client's Audit and Accounting Services department as a Staff Accountant.

In this role, you will play a key part in diverse accounting and audit assignments, collaborating closely with team members across all levels and gaining exposure to a wide range of clients and industries.

Responsibilities :

• Perform various accounting and audit tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with department members to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments.
• Engage with clients from different industries, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks and projects.
• Demonstrate critical and analytical thinking, approaching challenges with a curious and solution-oriented mindset.
• Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in remote communication and project management tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, or current undergraduate student with Senior status.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Enthusiasm for the public accounting profession with plans to obtain CPA license; having completed 150 credit hours per State requirements is a plus.
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp and apply new concepts rapidly.
• High proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with remote communication and project management tools is advantageous.

Work Environment :

Location : Beachwood, with a blend of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
