The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.

Position Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center seeks a highly motivated full-time ACNP / AGACNP to work in the cardiothoracic ICU.
Our unit is a 10-bed, closed ICU staffed by ACNPs / AGACNPs working in close collaboration with anesthesiology / critical care Attends to provide cutting-edge medical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients following coronary revascularization, valvular surgery, aortic reconstruction surgery, minimally invasive surgery, congenital heart surgery, heart / lung transplantation and ventricular assist device placement.
- Perform bedside procedures within the scope of service
- Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have MS in Nursing with 4 years of nursing-related experience
- Must have ACNP or AGACNP board certification or be eligible for and have NYS licensure
- Must have excellent communication skills, an innovative attitude and follow evidence-based practice while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
- All other duties as assigned
