Senior Software Engineer, MLOps Platform - Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA is building world-class artificial intelligence tools, from autonomous vehicles to medical imaging to speech recognition.

In order to do that, we also need a groundbreaking AI infrastructure platform that streamlines the end-to-end machine learning operations pipeline from data acquisition all the way to training and deployment.

MagLev is NVIDIA's internal MLOps platform for autonomous vehicles that makes it easy to scale up and mature ML applications so that teams don't have to reinvent the wheel and can focus on innovating.

We're looking for curious, engaged, and collaborative engineers to build a suite of tools targeted at ML operations. This is an opportunity to work with teams across the entire spectrum of the machine learning process, and if you enjoy getting into the nitty-gritty of how to translate user needs into sophisticated applications, this might be the role for you!

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with multiple teams to improve the quality of our APIs and services.
• Define standards and best practices for developing services.
• Develop web-based UIs that improve developer efficiency and productivity.
• Rapidly develop and iterate on software in response to user feedback.
• Tackle difficult, bold problems and bring transparency and definition to amorphous questions.
• Create smooth, easy-to-use interfaces driven by user-centered research and design.
• Contribute to the adoption of frameworks, standards, and new technologies.

What We Need To See

• Bachelors in Computer Science or proven track record of building web-based applications at scale or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for creating and improving documentation, engaging partners, and forming team consensus.
• Independence, self-sufficiency, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability over your work.
• High standards of excellence and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
• An understanding of the importance of prioritization and how to balance opposing needs.
• Dedication to building rich, user-centric applications.
• Cross-cultural competency and sensitivity for working with interdisciplinary, international teams.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Expertise in developing APIs with high quality design and contracts.
• Expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Lit.
• Strong background in Typescript, Python and / or Go.
• Experience delivering software using agile methodology and CI / CD practices.
• Leadership in driving technical decisions across teams.

The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 333,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
