    Essential Duties : \n

  • Ability to operate GMAW (MIG) GTAW (TIG) and follow WPS welding processes (3G / 3F)

    • \n

  • RWMA (Spot Weld) resistance welding processes and follow WPS welding processes

    • \n

  • Ability to operate an oxy-acetylene torch (brazing process a plus)

    • \n

  • Knowledge of weld symbols and where to look them up

    • \n

  • Basic knowledge of welding techniques, materials and equipment

    • \n

  • Proficient in using shop tools related to welding fit up (such as grinders)

    • \n

  • Able to demonstrate basics of blueprint reading, read a tape measure and calipers

    • \n

  • Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to cmplete assigned tasks within set time allotted

    • \n

  • Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer and / or written reporting

    • \n

  • Performs operator maintenance on equipment

    • \n \n

    Education / Experience / Other Skills & Abilities :

    \n

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and / or related work experience

    • \n

  • Able to obtain AWS Certification in all above welding areas

    • \n

  • Operation of small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment

    • \n \n
