Retail Manager - Job Summary
Our creative, upscale boutique Letterpress PLAY is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to be our next Assistant Manager.
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in the daily business operations of the store including training and supervising employees, interacting with customers to ensure that our guests have a wonderful experience at our property, merchandising, managing inventory and handling any other task assigned by the store manager.
Our ideal candidate has two or more years in retail management.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Help deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)
- Report on buying trends, customer needs etc.
- Work with Marketing Team to help organize special promotions, displays and events
- Assist Manager with store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
- Helps meet sales goals by training, motivating sales staff
- Merchandise check-in, and ticketing
- Ecommerce order fulfilment and shipping
- Inventory packaging
- Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
- Maintain high store standards and foster a positive environment.
- Additional assistant store manager duties as needed

Compensation
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
