Responsibilities
- Thoroughly understood and enforced i9 Sports rules, fostering a fun, educational, and safe experience for all players.
- Championed sportsmanship by actively teaching and demonstrating core values, promoting fair play and teamwork.
- Efficiently set up and broke down practice and game equipment, ensuring a smooth and organized experience.
- Accurately kept time and score during games, adjusting instruction and competition to suit the players' age and development level.
- Maintained a consistently positive attitude, motivating and encouraging players and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assisted volunteer coaches by leading drills and answering questions, fostering a collaborative coaching environment.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Master Communicator : Effectively interact with players, coaches, and spectators, fostering a positive and inclusive environment through clear, engaging communication.
- Sport Savvy : Possess at least 2 years of experience as a player, coach, or official in the specific sport, bringing valuable knowledge and passion.
- Self-Directed Problem Solver : Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently to identify and solve challenges that arise during practices and games.
- Safety Champion : Prioritize player safety by proactively identifying and managing risks and taking decisive action in any situation.
- Positive & Collaborative : Maintain a cheerful and encouraging attitude while building strong relationships with players, coaches, and families, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Flexible Player : Demonstrate the ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings, for the full season (approximately 7 weeks).
- Tech-Ready : Possess a smartphone with internet capability, ensuring access to resources and communication.
- Safety Commitment : Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check, ensuring a safe and trusted environment for all participants.
