Janitorial Associate Trainer at Adelante Development Center, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Learns and implements behavior management procedures, training programs, policies and procedures to develop the productivity of Associates, and communicates this information to other staff as appropriate.
• Participates in the evaluation of Associates to assess progress towards independence in their job.
• Works one-on-one with the Associates to facilitate their success through hands-on training, demonstrations, repetition to build new work habits, and other coaching.
• Directs the work of assigned Associate employees with disabilities, including cleaning and restocking restrooms and removing trash.
• Sweeps, mops, buffs hard surface floors; vacuums carpeted areas; dusts and polishes furniture and surfaces.
• Ensures grounds and sidewalks are free of trash and debris; conducts inspections of work and records progress.
• Reports complaints from customers and any needed equipment repairs to supervisor for resolution.
• Participates in the time-study process for assigned Associates.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
