Financial Analyst

This role involves supporting key accounting functions, including month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.

The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in U.S. GAAP, Excel, and SAP to maintain accuracy and efficiency while adapting to changing processes and system implementations

Our client is a leading manufacturer of household named foods. They have an internatnal presence and have locations across the United States.

Description

• Help with the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are achieved.
• Perform reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts at month-end.
• Prepare and post weekly and monthly journal entries, including but not limited to those related to Concur, Payroll, and Treasury.
• Provide support during the annual external financial audit.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance with the company's accounting procedures and controls.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.
• Assist with tasks related to system implementations and automation efforts in general accounting.
• Carry out any additional duties required for the effective execution of this role.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficient to advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
• Strong analytical and system skills; SAP experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving processes as required.
• Competent with computer applications such as Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, and similar programs.
• Ability to prioritize both financial and operational tasks.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines consistently.

Job Offer

$68,000 -$71,800 base salary with a 5% bonus, medical, vision , dental, and 401k
