The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in our healthcare team, providing essential care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical staff.
This position requires a compassionate individual dedicated to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.
- Measure, record, and document vital signs.
- Conduct routine urine testing.
- Manage specimen processing, including labeling, packaging, and generating requisitions.
- Accompany providers in the examination rooms as Chaperone.
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment / procedures, examinations, and testing of patients.
- Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and all other patient care areas per established policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Sterilize medical instruments per established standards and procedures.
- Represent the office in a professional manner. Treat all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
- Participate in team activities and professional development activities.
- Attend required meetings.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Current CPR and / or BLS certification preferred OR the ability to obtain the certification within 30 days of employment via Women’s Care training.
- Experience working in OBGYN or Primary Care a plus.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Must possess the ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of internal personnel, providers, personnel of outside organizations, and patients and their family members, both written and verbally.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
