Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois state license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Previous experience in speech and language therapy, preferably in a school setting
- Experience with AAC
- IEP experience in a school setting is preferred
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals
- Provide therapy services to clients to improve speech production, language comprehension, fluency, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and caregivers, to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for clients
