The Role

We are looking for a Senior Security DevOps Engineer to help us build, automate, and run all aspects of VTs security operations program.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in Agile Development practices.
• Participate in software development security threat modeling.
• Obtain and maintain organizational certifications.
• Communicate effectively within the InfoSec team and cross-functionally as well as ensure proper documentation.
• Enhance and update security incident response policies, processes, and procedures.
• Enhance and maintain security detection, monitoring, and logging technologies and systems.
• Actively participate in and run cross-functional information security incident response.
• Carry out digital forensics and work on information security investigations.
• Carry out regular operational information security tasks.
• Operate 24x7 security monitoring with a strategic partner.
• Offer input on strategic security direction and planning.

Required / Minimum Qualifications :

• 5+ years of Information Security experience with at least two years of operational experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (AWS and / or Google Cloud preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a variety of situations with various stakeholders.
• Experience with risk benchmarking and security assessments.
• Experience with asset management and automation techniques.
• Working knowledge of multiple programming languages.
• Experience with Web Application Firewalls and modern web application architectures.
• Working literacy of versioning, GIT, SVN.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and other security frameworks.
• Knowledge of modern application development, best practices, and tooling (IDE, Debugging, SAST / DAST).
• Experience leading complex information security incidents.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with Okta, Expel, Drata, Crowdstrike, Cloudflare.
• Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript.

Location :

Up to 50% Flexible WFH

Salary Range :

$135,000 to $145,000 annually based on experience.
