Are you a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room RN looking to make a difference in patient care? We are seeking an experienced and motivated ER Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team in Ottumwa, IA. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Document all patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

  • Current RN license in the state of Iowa or a valid multistate / compact license .
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
  • Iowa Mandatory Reporter Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Certificates (must be obtained upon hire).
  • Strong critical-thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
