We are looking for a Senior PM to own driving insights to enable step-change improvement in multiple areas of the US 3P Business organization.

An ideal candidate is able to synthesize internal and external signals and data to generate insights and actionable plans to drive tangible impact in a multi-billion-dollar business.

The candidate is able to effectively navigate ambiguity, think through a complex problem logically, and can articulate their mental model succinctly to cross-functional senior leaders to gain buy-in.

They insist on high standards and are able to move with speed while ensuring long-term sustainable growth of the business.

This role is perfect for someone with a proactive approach to complex tasks and projects, the ability to navigate dynamic challenges in a fast-paced environment, influence without authority using data and analytics, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the capability to independently prioritize activities to deliver results for our globally expanding business.

Key job responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader and trusted partner on US3P business insights. Apply sound research and business acumen to help the business solve complex problems by leveraging disparate data sources and connecting the dots to craft meaningful narratives that help the business look around corners.
  • Own driving long and short-term corrective plans across key foundational pillars of the US3P business (e.g., supply chain, seller experience, etc.).
  • Own building durable processes and products to enable data-driven decision making in the US3P business organization.
  • Own business driver story for US3P (how does business input impact output) and ensure accountability from partner organizations for contribution and corrective actions.
  • Build mechanisms to track, flag, and course correct trend breaks in key business health metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical / IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries from scratch, extract and manipulate data, and create new measures and metrics.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
