Description : Job Summary : Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.

• This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.
• Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.

Schedule Notes : 7 : 00AM-5 : 30PMOn Call- Required : Minimum of 3 On Call shifts / per Month.Weekend on Call- Required (1-2 of the 3 On Call Shifts).

No Holidays. 13 week Assignment. Surgical Operating Room.BLS-aha, ACLS-aha, NIHSS- Required.2 Years Minimum Experience- Required.

Circulating + Scrub Experience-Required. Experience with Epic and EMR-Highly Preferred.Epic Training will be given prior to start.

Scrubs provided. Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.

Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.Skills : Required Skills & Experience : -Minimum qualifications required for services : -Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
