This position is on-site at 4225 W. 25th Street.

The ability to read well is a critical and creative skill that opens opportunities for students in their daily lives as well as in college and beyond. Reading engages the imagination, develops essential vocabulary, provides social-emotional support, and provides the skills necessary for critically engaging the world around us. Our goal is that students are able to attain grade-level fluency as well as develop a love for learning that is engaging and inspiring.

In return for your commitment to Erie House and its mission to the community, you will enjoy excellent professional development opportunities, opportunities for growth, and a direct impact on building powerful communities. Alongside the Literacy Manager, the facilitator helps plan lessons, parent workshops, special events like family reading nights, and works to maintain the data and assessments that help us track student progress and family engagement. We value collaboration and creativity and work hard to meet the diverse needs of our learners in an interactive, hands-on way.
