MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Little Blue Valley Sewer District , a public agency created in 1968, operates two wastewater treatment facilities in Jackson and Cass counties in western Missouri with offices located in Independence.
The district serves a growing region in the eastern and southeastern Kansas City metropolitan area with a combined treatment capacity of 54 MGD encompassing approximately 278 square miles of land area and has a reputation for environmental excellence.

Salary Range : $27.93 / hr $36.73 / hr

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
- Completion of high school or equivalent & certification of completion from approved secondary education institution with an industrial maintenance major or emphasis.
- Work exper may be substituted for formal education.
- Min of 3 years’ exper in industrial mechanical maintenance field.
- Responsible for mechanical maintenance preventive, predictive, corrective, problem-solving, equipment installation; various technical tasks.
- Available to work extended hours when necessary for emergencies or when systems are inoperable & require continued efforts.
- Able to work alone, unassisted, or as a member of a crew.
- Must currently possess & maintain valid driver’s license & driving record satisfactory to policy. CDL-Class B is not preferred but may be required at such time it is needed to perform essential functions.
