We would love to have you join our Environmental team today. We are looking to grow our team in multiple facets; environmental compliance as well as site investigation / remediation.
The successful candidate will manage environmental assessment and remediation projects and / or environmental compliance projects.
In this position, the new team member will serve as a local and regional technical resource for junior staff across North Carolina.
The right candidate will provide leadership in marketing efforts, maintain existing and develop new client relationships, prepare proposals, cost estimates and reports, and train, mentor and direct field staff and project professionals.

The successful candidate can either be highly specialized in one or more of the service areas below or have solid experience and regulatory knowledge in a combination of the service areas listed below.
- Contamination Assessment
- Remediation
- Innovative Remedial Technologies
- Compliance (Air permitting, Stormwater / SWPPP, RCRA / Hazardous waste, SPCC plans, etc)
To be successful in this role you will need to be confident and possess a strong technical background with proven leadership skills.
You will manage projects, prepare reports and other deliverables, and review documents prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and quality following company standards.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities :
- Grow and expand existing environmental services
- Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables
- Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness
- Understand the local and regional market
- Develop strong working relationships with clients
- Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests
- Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies
- Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines
- Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related science field
Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
Minimum of 9+ years’ related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years' related experience.
Certification in field of expertise required.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
