Roadway PM Engineer Requirements & Responsibilities :
- Education and License : Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and a PE License (Indiana / Ohio)
- Experience : 10-15 years in roadway design, with experience preparing plans for DOT projects
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in MicroStation and / or AutoCAD, strong technical writing, and verbal communication skills
- Project Management : Manage roadway projects, including client and consultant coordination, supervise staff, and develop construction plans
- Design Expertise : Design roadway projects, including horizontal and vertical alignment, drainage, ditch profile, guardrail calculations, and super elevation diagrams
- Supervision : Oversee the preparation of CAD drawings, quantity calculations, cost estimates, erosion control plans, and maintenance of traffic plans
